I just discovered a terrific website for all manner of Japanese food, kitchen equipment, knives, stationary, books and magazines. Bento & Co has terrific bento boxes that serve many purposes. What originally caught my eye was the well-designed Bin 8 , a very clever nesting device shaped like a wine bottle. It includes (from top to bottom):

- A spice grater for making things such as fresh ginger or garlic

The Bin 8 kitchen tool bottle makes a terrific gift for apartment dwellers suffering from limited kitchen space and the $24.90 price is very fair. Be aware of the high shipping fees, however!
